What are the differences between twin-shaft concrete mixer and common concrete mixer?

1. Power transmission of twin-shaft concrete mixer should be checked firstly. Then, the operation of vibrator, mixing drum, and briar dressing rod should be checked. Electromechanical technicians ought to be informed to solve the problems if some failures are checked out.

2. Twin-shaft concrete mixer should be charged according to water cement ratio without loading too much materials at a time, what’s more, the mixing time should be one minute at least every time. Normally speaking, the concrete mixed ought to be viscous.

 

 

3. The driver who is specially employed to operate the mixer should be familiar with theory and function of operating system, when some failures are happened, they must stop to check the machine immediately.

4. Electric elements, especially cable, should be protected from being damaged.

5. Twin-shaft concrete mixer should be placed on even ground, and no person is allowed to stand under the hopper in order to prevent the person from being hurt by the falling hopper.

6. In case of concrete solidification, twin-shaft concrete mixer should be started every twenty minutes when it is stopped temporarily, or operator can clean the mixing drum after pouring out concrete.

7. The whole machine, including mixing drum, should be cleaned by water after concrete has been poured.
